Ngày 10-7 (22 giờ Việt Nam), tại New York, Tổ chức Sở hữu trí tuệ thế giới (WIPO) đã công bố Báo cáo về xếp hạng chỉ số đổi mới sáng tạo toàn cầu năm 2018. Việt Nam tiếp tục cải thiện vị trí, tăng hai bậc lên vị trí 45/126 quốc gia và nền kinh tế được xếp hạng.
