Ninh Binh province is endowed with rich historical and cultural values as the former capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. These values have now been integrated into signature local products within the "One commune - One product" (OCOP) programme.
Many businesses, cooperatives and individuals in Ninh Binh province have put OCOP products for sale on e-commerce platforms.
The implementation of the OCOP programme in the past five years has helped Ninh Binh open up opportunities to develop production and increase values for local products, thereby contributing to the effective performance of the national target programmes on new-style rural areas.
