The 'National Tourism Year 2021 - Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh' officially wrapped up at a ceremony held in Ninh Binh Province on December 30.

The opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2021 is scheduled to take place in Truong Yen commune of Hoa Lu district in the northern province of Ninh Binh. The event is expected to draw a large number of visitors, thus tourist sites and destinations in the province have carefully prepared, improved the quality of services and renewed tourism products in a bid to offer interesting experiences for travellers.

With the theme "Hoa Lu - Thousand-year-old Capital",the National Tourism Year 2021 will take place in many localities across the country in 2021, with many attractive activities contributing to activating the tourism industry and its recovery schedule following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2021 will be held on April 20 night, which is expected to see the participation of about 2,600 guests and 7,000 local people and visitors.

The organising board for the National Tourism Year 2021 of Ninh Binh province held a meeting on April 5 to decide on the final plan and discuss related preparations for the opening ceremony scheduled to take place later this month.

A delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Hung, held a working session with Ninh Binh's leaders on March 25 to discuss the organization of the National Tourism Year 2021.

The National Tourism Year 2021 will be hosted by the northern province of Ninh Binh under the theme "Hoa Lu - Millennium-old Ancient Capital".

Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just issued dispatch No. 07 / KH-UBND on organizing the National Tourism Year 2021 - Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh, themed Hoa Lu - ancient capital of a thousand years.

Ninh Binh province will continue to host the National Tourism Year 2021, according to Official dispatch No. 4494 dated June 5, 2020 issued by the Government Office.
