On the occasion of the successful conclusion of the 132nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-132) and the adoption of the Hanoi Declaration, Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Committee of External Relations and Head of the Standing Organisation Committee for the IPU-132 Tran Van Hang granted reporters an interview on the outcomes of the significant event on April 1.
Under the theme 'Sustainable Development Goals after 2015: Turning words into action', the IPU-132 will provide a chance for leaders of parliaments around the world to discuss and evaluate the results of the implementation of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) set by the United Nations in 2000, the delivery of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and discuss urgent global issues.
