Ninh Binh is among a few provinces and centrally run-cities nationwide enjoyed positive industrial production growth in 2023. The outcome was attributed to the industry and trade sector's synchronic measures to remove difficulties for local bussinesses, thereby helping to spur industrial production growth and maintain its growth momentum. This year, the province is striving to reach industrial production growth target of 8.7%.

Though there were still difficulties in the first months of 2024, positive signs of new orders and consumption have appeared. Continuing its growth momentum in 2020, Ninh Binh's exports saw good performance right in the first month of 2021, raking in a turnover of 243.3 million USD.

The economy is shaping new growth momentum, powered by the Government's determination to build a "development-facilitating government" development based on socio-economic development impetuses and people's livelihood improvements.
