Viet Nam commits to nuclear energy development for peaceful purposes in order to support its sustainable development strategy, said Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
Vietnam, as Chair of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), introduced a draft resolution entitled "Report of the IAEA" at a November 5-6 plenary session of the 68th UN General Assembly in New York.
Vietnam and Timor-Leste have agreed to enhance ties in politics, trade and investment, information and communications, agriculture, energy and education and training.
