In the past years, the northern province of Ninh Binh has paid due attention to preserving and promoting values of tangible culture heritages in an attempt to increase their values and affirm the brand names and unique identities of ancient Hoa Lu capital city.

Ninh Binh province and the Lao capital city of Vientiane have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the exchange of delegations to share experience and increase cooperation in tourism, socio-culture, education and agriculture.

The district of Hoa Lu will be merged into Ninh Binh city with an orientation of exploiting cultural and historical values of Hoa Lu ancient capital and outstanding values of Trang An heritage site to turn Ninh Binh into a national hub of culture, history and tourism.

A fashion show entitled "Essence of Ancient Capital", by designer Thach Linh is scheduled to take place at Hoa Lu Ancient Town, Ninh Binh City on September 9, showcasing traditional Vietnamese 'ao dai' and evening gowns.
