The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has approved Vietnam's withdrawal from hosting the 18th Asian Games (ASIAD) in 2019 and will not impose any punishments on the Southeast Asian country, OCA President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah said.
Vietnam has officially withdrawn from its 18th Asian Games (Asiad 18) hosting plan, according to a Government document released on April 17 by the Government Office, conveying the conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Vietnam's plan to host the event.
