Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved a plan to mobilise social resources to support children in extremely disadvantaged communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The Vietnam Farmers' Union (VFU) officially convened its seventh national congress in Hanoi on December 12.
