The National One Commune One Product Program (OCOP Program) with the overall goal of developing production and business forms in rural areas is a new driving force for rural economic development in Vietnam.

The second Cultural, Sports and Tourism Exchange Festival for Vietnam - Laos border areas officially opened in Son La province on July 5, with Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and Lao NA Chairwoman Pany Yathotu in attendence.
