In a bid to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic, some agricultural cooperatives in Ninh Binh province have carried out numerous ways to access markets. At the same time, they have gradually changed method of trading from traditional selling to online selling and delivery at home, helping them attract more consumers and sell more products.

The Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development (MARD) has launched a programme to connect and support the sales of agricultural products on a national scale.

Ninh Binh does not have many advantages in agricultural development while suffering negative impacts from diseases in recent years hence its agricultural growth remains low. Therefore, the province has stepped up the application of high and clean technology and biotechnology in agricultural production in a bid to create breakthroughs in the sector.

The complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic have caused disruption in agricultural product supply chains and posed challenges for many localities in agricultural product consumption. To address this problem, Ninh Binh authorities have directed related localities and sectors to work together to seek solutions to boost the sale of agricultural products during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), led by Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien, on June 5 worked with Ninh Binh's authorities on agricultural production, livestock breeding, and disease prevention and control in the northern province.
