Yen Mo district gets new-style rural area status

After ten years of implementing the new-style rural area building programme, all 16 communes of Yen Mo district have completed all of its criteria, which helped change the rural face and improve people's spiritual and material lives. In which, two districts Yen Tu and Yen Hoa recognised as model new-style rural areas.

So far, Yen Mo district has mobilised nearly 5.1 trillion VND, of which local residents contributed over 3.5 trillion VND to complete the programme.

By the end of 2020, per capital income of local people in the district reached 51 million VND, an increase of 37 million VND compared to that of 2010; while its poverty rate fell to just 0.75 percent. 

To date, three districts - Hoa Lu, Yen Khanh and Gia Vien, and Tam Diep city in Ninh Binh province have received the new-style rural area status.
