Voluntary blood donation festival takes place in Ninh Binh

The event was jointly organised by the Steering Committee of Voluntary Blood Donation of Ninh Binh and the National Hanh Trinh Do(Red Journey) Coordination Committee, attracting over 800 people.

The seventh Red Journey blood donation campaign will take place in 39 provinces and cities from June 14 to July 27 this year. Ninh Binh is among 39 provinces nationwide always pays attention to promoting voluntary blood donation movements and honouring blood donors.

At the event, more than 620 blood units were collected at the programme, before being delivered to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. On the occasion, 3 families and 6 individuals were presented certificates of merit by the Vietnam Red CrossSociety (VRCS)Central Committee and the municipal People's Committee for their contributions to voluntary blood donation movements in the province in 2018.
