Volleyball Championship Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup 2024 opens in Ninh Binh

The event is co-organized by Ninh Binh's Department of Culture and Sports and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation. 

Attending the opening ceremony were member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan; Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council Mai Van Tuat; and Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, among others. 

The tournament sees the participation of six men's teams, including Ninh Binh LPBank, Bien Phong (Border Guard), The Cong, Ha Tinh, Ha Noi and Lavie Long An, and six women's teams namely VTV Binh Dien Long An, Geleximco Thai Binh, Ha Noi, Long Son Cement Thanh Hoa, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc and Ninh Binh LPBank.

Following the opening ceremony was the match between the women's teams of VTV Binh Dien Long An and Ninh Binh LPBank.

The championship is held annually and a tournament in the official competition system of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

This year's tournament lasts from February 27 to March 3.
