Volleyball Championship Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup 2023 kicks off

The event was co-orgasined by Ninh Binh's Department of Culture and Sport and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

Attending the opening ceremony were Secretary of Ninh Binh party committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; Chairman of Ninh Binh provincial people's council Mai Van Tuat; Chairman of Ninh Binh provincial people's committee Pham Quang Ngoc, among others.

The competition saw the participation of six men's teams, including Bien Phong (Border Guard), The Cong, Ha Tinh, Binh Duong Construction Material, Ha Noi and Ninh Binh Lienviet PostBank.

Six women's teams, namely DucGiang Ha Noi chemical, VTV Binh Dien Long An; Ha phu Thanh Hoa, Information High Command, Geleximco Thai Binh and Ninh Binh LienViet PostBank have also competed in the tournament.

Following the opening ceremony, Ha Phu Thanh Hoa played against Ninh Binh LienViet PostBank in the women's group.

The hosts of Ninh Binh LienViet PostBank successfully defeated their rivals Ha Phu Thanh Hoa 3-0. 

The tournament is an opportunity for the teams to improve their skills and  experience before competing at the National Volleyball Championship  2023 that will take place in the end of this month.

The Volleyball Championship Binh Dien - Hoa Lu Cup is held annually. This year's event lasts from February 11- 16.
