Vietnamese - German girl wins German Youth U12 Individual Chess Championships 2015

She has won many prizes of the city and the region. At seven years old, Han won the first prize of Sachsen state for girls in the 8-year-old category.

In 2013, she became the champion of the German Youth U10 Individual Chess Champs and was selected to compete at the International Chess Championships in Dubai,the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and in 2014, she got the third prize of the German Youth U12 Individual Chess Champs for girls in the 12-year-old division when she was just 11.

Thanks to her outstanding performances, she entered the final round of the tournament of the U12 Chess Championship in Dresden in 2015. Finally, she got to the highest place.

Ngoc Han Julia's achievements were not only her pride and joy but also that of the overseas Vietnamese community in Germany as well as of overseas Vietnamese people in general.
