PM Dung met with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on September 2 during the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the 10th China-ASEAN Business-Investment Summit in Nanning. He praised the preparations made for the events by Chinese authorities the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Over the last ten years, CAEXPO has become one of the most prestigious and influential trade shows, PM Dung said, and it represents a good chance for ASEAN and China to strengthen their friendship and strategic partnership.
Premier Li Keqiang said the delegation's participation in the expo and the summit reflects the Vietnamese Party and State's appreciation for the strengthening relationship with China, as well as Vietnam's support for the events.
He stressed that the Chinese Party, State and people consistently value relations with Vietnam and are willing to deepen the comprehensive strategic co-operative partnership between the two countries.
The two leaders said they were delighted to see recent positive developments in bilateral ties.

Through the meetings, the two sides have discussed important common viewpoints and have clearly identified major orientations to foster ties between the two Parties and countries.
Both parties have agreed to increase high-ranking visits and meetings, enhance co-operation for mutual benefits in economics, raise bilateral trade to US$60 billion by 2015 and jointly implement large-scale economic projects, especially those in infrastructure.
Regarding maritime issues, the two sides held that both nations must maintain peace and stability in the East Sea while searching a satisfactory resolution via peaceful negotiations.
PM Dung emphasised that negotiations must occur on the basis of international law, especially the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and the spirit of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC).
He also suggested that the two countries upgrade the hotlines between the two Defence Ministries and fishery agencies as agreed, contributing to prompt treatment of arising problems related to fishing vessels and fishermen.
On the occasion, PM Dung invited Premier Li Keqiang to visit Vietnam at an early date and the latter accepted the invitation with pleasure.
Later, the Vietnamese leader received Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Chen Wu and the Governor of Yunnan Province, Li Jiheng.
The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, whom he congratulated on Cambodia's achievements in national construction and socio-economic development and on the successful organisation of its fifth general election.
The Vietnamese leader said he hopes that Cambodia would establish its new Government and Parliament soon to stabilise the country for the sake of its people.
Prime Minister Hun Sen thanked the Vietnamese Government and people for their past support and assistance to his country, affirming that the Cambodian Government would maintain stability in the country.
Both leaders noted with pleasure that the friendship and comprehensive co-operation between the two countries have been consolidated and strengthened, particularly in trade and investment.
They agreed that the two sides would continue to work together to instruct their ministries, agencies and localities to co-operate further in all fields for the common benefit of both countries.
PM Dung took the occasion to thank the Cambodian Government and people for what they have given to help Vietnamese people have a stable life in Cambodia.
