Vietnam, Nicaragua enhance friendship, co-operation

The delegation visited the capital city of Managua as well as Sandino city and several districts of Carazo and Masaya provinces.

He congratulated Nicaragua on its achievements under the leadership of President Daniel Ortega and the FSLN, which aims to build a socialist, Catholic and united country replete with social justice, national harmony and a happy working class.

Addressing the meetings, local leaders praised Vietnam's achievements in national construction and socio-economic development, describing them as encouragement for Nicaraguans and people all over the world.

They expressed their wish that the traditional relations between the two Parties, Governments and peoples would develop further, especially in economics, trade and investment.

On the occasion, the Mayor of Managua and leaders of several cities and districts presented Le Hong Anh with the symbolic keys to their localities.
