At the working session, leaders of the Hoa Lu University called for assistance from the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City such in providing doctoral training for lectures and employees of the Hoa Lu University; cooperation in scientific research and technology transfer serving the province's socio-economic development.
The Hoa Lu University also wants to cooperate and share experience in building and developing training programmes; applying modern methods and technologies in teaching and learning; verifying and ensuring the quality of education and boosting digital transformation in education and training.
Quan shared his experiences and suggested development orientations for the Hoa Lu University in the coming time.
First, the Hoa Lu univesity should pay more attention to attracting and building a contingent of leading lectures and scientists to work at the school; perfecting mechanisms and policies for scientific research and recruitment of personnel, and buildingdevelopment strategies towards financial self-reliance.
He advised the university's lecturers to improve their English language skills and step up scientific research in a bid to meet criteria of doctoral training.
The Hoa Lu University should be more flexible in cooperation with businesses and other universities, Quan said.
It must define specific contents of digitalisation to propose support and assistance from the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, the director noted.
