MOLISA Deputy Minister, Doan Mau Diep, said that since 2008, the MOLISA and Manpower have signed three MoUs concerning issues on labour and employment.
With the signing of the fourth MoU in the 2018-2021 period, the MOLISA and Manpower will collaborate in the areas of enhancing awareness on labour trends, employment and human resource development in the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0.
Manpower will also assist Vietnam in completing its labour market infrastructure and developing its human resources through the improvement of knowledge and professional experience of workers to meet the requirements of automation and digitalisation.
During the period, the group will also share its experience of international labour markets with Vietnam, while enhancing Vietnam's cooperation with other countries in the areas of labour, employment and human resource development.
According to Doan Mau Diep, over the past 10 years, Manpower has assisted Vietnam in building a legal framework for the labour market, improving policies on employment services, and connecting workers with enterprises and vocational schools with businesses; among others.
Manpower is a provider of strategic workforce solutions that promote a sustainable competitive advantage and the ability to quickly adapt to changing demands. The group currently has 3,000 offices in more than 80 countries across the world, including Vietnam.
