Vietnam Fatherlandfront chapter in Ninh Binh convenes 12th congress

The event also saw the presence of member of Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front (VFF) Do Van Chien, Vice President and Secretary-General of the VFF Central Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; provincial leaders among others.

The two-day congress review the performance of the VFFCC in the 2019-2024 tenure and work out plans for the 2024 - 2029 tenure.

The congress reviewed the Committee's performance in the past tenure, as well as the draft political report at the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front chapter in Ninh Binh, 2024-2029 tenure.

In the recent five year, the VFF chapter in Ninh Binh has focused on improving its methods of operation and strengthening its organisational structure, as well as promoting communication work and its central role in consolidating and upholding the strength of national solidarity, while encouraging the public to take an active part in socio-economic development and poverty reduction.

In tenure 11, the local chapters of the VFF used their funds to help build and repair nearly 2,122 houses, and presented gifts worth more than VND 123 billion to poor households.

Speaking at the congress, President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien spoke highly of achievements recorded by VFF branches at all levels and asked the VFF branches at all level to be innovative and improve their performance in order to effectively carry out the VFF's action plans.

He also urged the VFF chapters at all levels to pay greater attention to improving the front's supervision and social criticism work, while accelerating its activities aimed at consolidating national solidarity and unity, and focusing on ethnic and religious affairs and maintaining political security, social order, and safety.

At the 12th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fartherland Front chapter in Ninh Binh has elected a new Provincial Committee for the 1tht tenure (2024-2029) with 80 members.
