Vietnam Fatherland Front chapter in Ninh Binh convenes 11st congress
The event also saw the presence of Vice President and General Secretary Hau A Lenh of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Ninh Binh party chief Nguyen Thi Thanh among others.
The two-day congress will review the performance of the VFFCC in the 2014-2019 tenure and work out plans for the 2019 - 2024 tenure. The congress reviewed the Committee's performance in the past tenure, as well as the draft political report at the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front chapter in Ninh Binh, 2019-2024 tenure.
In the recent five year, the VFF chapter in Ninh Binh has focused on improving its methods of operation and strengthening its organisational structure, as well as promoting communication work and its central role in consolidating and upholding the strength of national solidarity, while encouraging the public to take an active part in socio-economic development and poverty reduction.
In tenure 10, the local chapters of the VFF used their funds to help build and repair nearly 1, 233 houses, and presented gifts worth more than VND 100 billion to poor households.
Speaking at the congress, Vice President and General Secretary Hau A Lenh ofVietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee asked the VFF branches at all levels to be innovative and improve their performance in order to effectively carry out the VFF's action plans.
He also urged the VFF chapters at all levels to pay greater attention to improving the front's supervision and social criticism work, while accelerating its activities aimed at consolidating national solidarity and unity, and focusing on ethnic and religious affairs and maintaining political security, social order, and safety.
11st Provincial Committee of the VFF chapter in Ninh Binh has 81 members.
At the 11st Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fartherland Front chapter in Ninh Binh has elected a new Provincial Committee for the 11st tenure (2019-2024) with 81 members.
