Vietnam bodybuilding team earns one gold, two silver medals

Vietnam's bodybuilding team has won one gold and two silver medals on the first days of the 5th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships, which is taking place in Budaörs, Hungary, from November 13-17.
The team includes former world champions Nguyen Van Lam (70kg), Pham Van Mach (60kg) and Asian Championships winner, Nguyen Anh Thong (60kg) as well as Luong Thi Ngoc Anh, representing Vietnam in the women's category.
On the first day of the competition, bodybuilder Nguyen Anh Thong won a gold medal whilst Pham Van Mach earned silver in the men's 60kg event.
Nguyen Van Lam put in an excellent performance in the men's 70kg event and took away silver.
The competition is expected to offer a good opportunity for Vietnam's bodybuilding team to prepare ahead of the upcoming 27th Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar this December.
