Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on November 10 joined residents in Tan An ward, Tan Thanh district, Ninh Binh province at the great national unity festival, which was held on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) (November 18).
Addressing the event, the Vice State Sresident praised the VFF chapter in Tan Thanh, local authorities and officials for regularly organising the festival, which, he said, offers an opportunity to review the development of the Vietnam National United Front - the VFF's predecessor. Applauding outcomes of unity movements launched in Ninh Binh and Tan Thanh in particular, the leader noted her wish that the VFF chapter and locals will carry forward such achievements while contributing their opinions on Party building and State management. Various activities have also been organised in response to VFF-launched movements.
She also called on the Tan Thanh districts residents to further promote national spirit and solidarity, as well as to build a civilised lifestyle and actively response to national patrioctic emulations in the coming time.
On this occasion, Vice State President Dang thi Ngoc Thinh and Ninh Binh provincial party chief Nguyen Thi Thanh presented gifts to disadvantaged households, individuals and students in Tan an ward.
