The leader made the request on April 22 while inspecting the northern province's preparations for the upcoming elections of deputies to the 14th legislature and People's Councils at all levels for 2016-2021.
Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, who is also Vice Head of the National Election Council, spoke highly of Ninh Binh's preparations for the elections, which will take place in this May.
Ninh Binh should write down its difficulties and problems arising during the preparation course for the election and send them to the National Election Council for prompt settlement, she suggested.
After the third consultative conference on April 13, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee made a list of eight candidates eligible to run for seats in the NA, 85 others for the provincial People's Council, 450 forthe district People's Councils, and 6,432 for the communal People's Councils.
The province has a total of 1,052polling stations.
The same day, the Vice State President and a delegation from the NA Standing Committee and the National Election Council examined preparations for the elections in Ninh Binh city.
