At the sites, Thinh said the Hoa Lu ancient capital, Bai Dinh pagoda, and Trang An ecological site are important tourist destinations of Ninh Binh. Therefore, the province needs to have proper investment to exploit them effectively as part of effort to implement Resolution No 80/NQ-TƯ of the Party's Politburo on developing tourism as a spearheaded economy an as an orientation to develop the country in general and Ninh Binh in particular, the leader underlined.

In the mean time, Ninh Binh needs to focus all resources to organize the Hoa Lu festival safely, imbued with rich and distinctive cultural identity of Ninh Binh land and people, she noted.

The festival helps promote tourism potentials, and attract more visitors to Ninh Binh, contributing to boosting local socio-economic development, she added.
