Vice President Bui Mai Hoa presents gifts to wounded soldiers

The Vice President expressed her deep gratitude to martyrs, invalids and their families for their great contributions and precious sacrifice in the struggle to defend the country's independence.

The Vice President affirmed that the Party, the State, Ninh Binh authority and people always remember and feel grateful for the contribution and sacrifice of generations of heroic martyrs and invalids and take responsibility for taking care of these people and their families.

Same day, Mrs Hoa visited and presented gifts to agent orange victim Tran Van Tinh, hamlet 3, Lac Van commune, Nho Quan district.

On the occasion of 72th War Invalids' and Martyrs' Day, Ninh Binh also held various activities to remember and show deep gratitude to martyrs, invalids and their families for their great contributions.

Early on July 19, a reqiuem held for fallen soldiers in Ninh Binh in Bai Dinh pagoda; on Monday night, Ninh Binh launched a ceremony to raise fund for revolutionary contributors.

Establised two years ago, the fund has raised 3.6 million USD. At the launch night, 370,000 USD were mobilized.
