Chairman Nhan also spoke highly of the diplomat's contributions to enhancing co-operation between Vietnam and Germany in all fields, including the organisation of visits of senior leaders.
He expressed hope that Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang's state visit to Germany and the German Foreign Minister's visit to Vietnam on the occasion the 40th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between the two countries would contribute to strengthening the friendship and strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany.
Adding that, he hopes Germany will continue to paying attention to the Vietnamese market, maintain the country's provision of official development assistance (ODA) and increase investments in Vietnam.
He believed that Vietnam's trade ties with Germany would thrive after the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Union is signed.
He also highly appreciates Germany's support for the 'Vietnam-Germany University' project and disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation projects.
For her part, Ambassador Frasch expressed her joy at the fine development of the bilateral relations across various fields, and said she hopes the two sides will continue boosting relations in such fields as trade and economics, investment and development co-operation in education and training.
