It sees the participation of four teams: U19 Vietnam, U19 Tottenham Hotspur, U19 Japan and U19 AS Roma.
The event is co-organized by Nutifood Nutrition Food Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), HA.GL Group and Eximbank.The organizing board offers a total prize of USD226,000, in which the champion will get USD100,000, while the runners-up will receive USD70,000 and USD50,000 respectively, and some additional prizes. This sets a record in terms of cash prizes for youth tours hosted by the VFF.

Ticket prices are VND150,000 for A stage, and VND50,000-70.000 for C and D stages, to be sold from December 28 at ticket offices of Ho Chi Minh city's Thong Nhat stadium.
This tournament is expected to become an annual event, thus encouraging playing spirit among young Vietnamese footballers to conquer new records not only in the Southeast Asia, but also throughout Asia.
The U19 Vietnam squad is gathering at Ham Rong training centre of HA.GL Group, Pleiku city of Gia Lai province.
