Trang An Ninh Binh team overcame many rivals to secure the second place.
The tournament drew over 200 players who are under 20 years old for male players and under 19 years old for female players, from 20 volleyball clubs nationwide.
After two weeks of competition, the tournament closed successfully.
In the men's category, the Bien Phong (Border Guard) team won the first prize; followed by Trang An Ninh Binh. The Cong team came third.
In the women's category, LienVietPost Bank bagged the first prize, followed by VTV Binh Dien Long An. The third place belonged to Duc Giang chemical team.
Each of the winning teams received a champion cup and a cash prize worth 30 million VND; the second was 20 million VND; and the third team was 15 million VND.
The tournament is part of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation's competition system. It aims at training volleyball players nationwide and giving a useful playground for them to exchange and share experience in volleyball, thus contributing to improving their health and experience for international competitions.
