Trang An Ninh Binh team finishes 11th in Asia Volleyball Tournament

The team beat Cignal from the Phillipines to get that position. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament, which ran from August 13- 21. There were strong ones, likeT aichung Bank Club (Taiwan), Al Arabi Sport Club(Qatar), Paykan (Iran), Avlodar VC (Kazakhstan), BAIC Motor (China), and Korea Armed Forces (the Republic of Korea).

Trang An Ninh Binh won four matches, and lost three, ranking 11^thoverall. The standing surprised both local experts and its fans.

This year, the host team of Taiwan took the champion and secured a berth in the FIVB Men's Club World Championship in Brazil, which is scheduled for October 17-November 1.
