Accordingly, the activities, including an international scientific seminar on the management, preservation and promotion of values of world heritages, a photo exhibition, a stamp collection release, a peace praying ceremony and art performances will be organized at Ba Dinh Pagoda Conference Centre, in Hoa Lu and Gia Vien districts and Ninh Binh city from January 22nd to 24th.
The ceremony to receive the recognition certificate will be broadcast live on VTV 1, ANTV and Ninh Binh provincial Radio-Television channels. These activities, in response to National Tourism Year- Thanh Hoa 2015, aim to raise people's patriotism and pride of cultural values.
On June 25th, 2014, at the 38th session of the World Heritage Committee in Qatar, the UNESCO named Trang An Landscapes Complex as a world heritage, becoming the first recognized cultural and natural heritage site in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Speaking at the press conference, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Huu Binh affirmed the importance of the event to popularize Trang An culture heritage, cultural and historical relics in the province to domestic and international tourists.
The recognition is an honour of Ninh Binh locals in particular, and the Vietnamese in general.
