Top leaders of Ninh Binh went to the polls on May 23 morning, along with 729,000 voters across the province, to cast their votes to select deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA) and People's Councils at all levels in the 2021-2026 tenure.
Top provincial leaders go to the polls
Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, who is also head of the province's delegation of NA deputies, and Ninh Binh city's leaders came to the polling station No 2 in Nam Thanh ward in Ninh Binh city.
After the opening ceremony, they were among the first in the polling station No 2 to cast their ballots and exercise their rights and duties as citizens to elect deputies to the 15th NA and People's Councils at all levels.
Meanwhile, Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the 14th-tenure provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang cast his ballots at the polling station No 6 in Phat Diem town in the district of Kim Son.
Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc went to the polls in Khanh Minh ward, Ninh Binh city.

In the context of complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Election Committees at all levels have well prepared to ensure safety and security for the elections as well as strictly implementing pandemic prevention measures.
Ninh Binh has a total of 1,020 voting stations with 729,000 voters. They are casting their votes to elect six out of eight candidates as deputies to the 15th NA, and 50 out of 85 candidates for the provincial People's Council; 260 out of 434 candidates for the district-level People's Councils; and 3,424 out of 5,742 candidates for the commune-level People's Councils.
