Top Lao leader pays visit to Ninh Binh

He had a working session with the local authorities, including Secretary of the Ninh Binh Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh.

Thanh expressed her joy to welcome the Lao guests, and affirmed that the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos would be long lasting.

In the recent times, the relations between Ninh Binh and the Lao province of Udomxay has been fostered.

The two sides have regularly exchanged high-l evel visits to learn from each other's experience in fulfilling their assigned political tasks as well as boost mutual cooperation, she added.

She wished Laos would reap more successes in pursuit of independence and prosperity and continue fostering the long lasting relationship with Vietnam.

Mr Bounnhong Vorarith thanked the hosts for their warm welcome and expressed his delight at the socio-economic development achieved by Ninh Binh.

He was glad about the recent progress in the relations between the two Parties and states in all areas, particularly that of Ninh Binh and Udomxay in the past years.

BounhangVorachit spoke highly of Ninh Binh's support for Udomxay in many fields, especially in personnel training and infrastructure building, hoping that Udomxay will receive more help from Ninh Binh authority in the time to come.

The Lao top leader affirmed that he would work for special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, and states in the coming time.
