Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh People's Committee Dinh Quoc Tri had a working session in Ninh Binh city on Devember 11 with a Taiwanese business delegation led by Chang Minh Yong, counsellor of Taiwanese Department of Investment Services.
The visiting delegation includes representatives of enterprises and firms operating in such fields as commercial orchid cultivation, organic vegetable production, mushroom farming, abalone breeding, and food processing and preservation. After hearing enterprises' introduction of their capacity as well as desire to seek opportunities to invest in and cooperate with the province, Tri said Ninh Binh authorities are ready to roll out a red carpet for Taiwanese companies keen to invest in Ninh Binh agriculture. Enterprises should study and pay attention to specific sectors like orchid cultivation, abalone breeding, and mushroom farming since Ninh Binh boasts abundant materials for these industries to boom, he added. Tri then pledged to provide investors from Taiwan in particular and foreign investors in general with the best conditions during their investment in Ninh Binh. Currently, Taiwanese investors are operating mainly in the sectors of garment and industry in Ninh Binh province.
