In the creative poomsae event, Thien Phung seized the men's title, while Thuy Dung claimed the women's bronze. The pair were also crowned champions in the mixed doubles category.
The standard poomsae discipline continued to see Thuy Dung dominant over 68 others. Thien Phung overcame 46 competitors to add a silver to Vietnam's tally.
Later, the two athletes went on to win the standard mixed doubles category to bring home the fourth gold for the Vietnamese team.
The annual tournament featured the participation of 531 taekwondo fighters representing 33 countries around the world.
The Vietnamese delegation, headed by President of the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation Truong Ngoc De, participated with two artists, Thien Phung and Thuy Dung, and trainer Nguyen Thanh Huy.
The Lille Open was a high-quality tournament on the G1 ranking system with the presence of top European fighters, Huy said, adding that these positive results at the beginning of 2017 would provide an impetus for Vietnam's taekwondo artists to achieve greater successes in the coming time.
Vietnamese taekwondo athletes are planning to compete in the Southeast Asian senior and junior championships in March, the world beach competition in May and other Asian competitions since early June.
