Stabilising Market and Prices during Tet 2016

Accordingly, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to collaborate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to actively monitor market developments and take effective measures to timely direct their units and localities to ensure the sufficient supply of essential goods. The ministry will organise distribution systems to bring goods to people in far-lying regions during Tet.

Besides, to facilitate enterprises to take part in the market and price stabilisation programme, reserve enough goods to meet consumer demands and ensure reasonable prices and quality of goods, actively bridge supply and demand, bring goods to rural areas, attend trade fairs and launch sales promotional programmes.

Besides, other ministries such as the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Transport need to have reasonable plans to ensure smooth operation during the Lunar New Year.
