SriLanka parliamentary delegation visits Ninh Binh

The Srilankan officials were on a working visit to Vietnam.

Thanh expressed her joy to welcome the delegation, and briefed her guests on the province's geography, history, culture, and socio-economic situation.

 Vietnam and Sri Lanka share a lot of similarities, therefore, the two countries would enjoy future cooperation in fields of agriculture, aquaculture and tourism, Thanh stressed.

She expressed herhope that the visit would lift the cooperativeties between Sri Lanka and Ninh Binh province to a new level.

On behalf of the delegation, Chairman KaruJ aya suriya thanked the host for the warm reception, and spoke highly of achievements made by Vietnam in the recent time, especially in fields of agriculture, aquaculture and tourism. SriLanka needs to learn more experience from Vietnam in developing these above fields, he added.

 Same day, the delegation visited Bai Dinh pagoda and Trang An eco-tourism site.
