In the recent years, ecotourism in combination with experiences at nature conservation areas have become a trend of many visitors.
Cuc Phuong is the first national park in Vietnam to launch and develop tourism products highlighting the comunnity's responsibility with the environment. It was named among leading Asian destinations in four consecutive years from 2019 to 2022.
These nature conservation areas have great potential to develop ecotourism in combination with experience activities, thereby contributing to improving incomes for local residents and protecting forest ecosystems and the environment.
However, the management and exploitation of eco-tourism potentialin line with wildlife rescue and conservation has met difficulties, namely the poor advertisement and lack of outstanding tourism products.
At the seminar, delegates discussed advantages and difficulties in speeding up tourism linkage and cooperation as well as put forth measures to develop Ninh Binh tourism in general and to develop eco-tourism combined with wildlife rescue and conservation in Cuc Phuong in particular.
Representatives of the Cuc Phuong centre for environment education and services signed coordination commitments with two travel agencies.
