Secretary of provincial Party Committee visits and presents gifts to elderly people

On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of International Day of Older Persons (October 1), Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan visited and presented gifts to elderly people at the provincial centre for social support and affairs and older persons in Ninh Binh city's Ninh Son ward.
Huan extended his regards and best wish of good health to the elderly people while stressing that the Party, State have always pay due attention to caring for the elderly and issue suitable mechanisms and policies to improve their material and spiritual lives.
He also asked the centre's staff to uphold their responsibility to better care for the elderly and mobilise resources for the work.
Later, the official and his delegation visited and presented gifts to centenarians Pham Thi Ky (born in 1922) and Nguyen Thi My (born in 1923) in Ninh Son ward of Ninh Binh city.
