Secretary of provincial Party Committee receives Lao Ambassador

Huan briefed his guests on theprovince's socio-economic achievements as well as cooperative relations between Lao localities and Ninh Binh in the past few years, underscoring that their friendship and cooperation have been strengthened and expanded.

He hoped that the Lao diplomat will continue to support and create favourable conditions for Ninh Binh to expand cooperative ties with Lao localities.

Ninh Binh wants to connect and cooperate with heritage ancient capital cities of Laos and exchange experiences in preserving and promoting heritage values, thus developing a trans-bordernetwork of  heritage cities, he said.

Ninh Binh is preparing files to seek recognition of Nhoi Hoa princess (a Lao princess) temple in Son Lai commune of Nho Quan district as a national relic site, so that it hoped to receive more support from the Lao side in providing information about Nhoi Hoa princess, Huan added. 

For her part, Khamphao spoke highly of the cooperative relations between Ninh Binh and Lao localities, hoping that Ninh Binh would further boost cooperation with the Lao localities in the coming time.

The Lao ambassador affirmed that she would do her utmost to further strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnamas well as between localities of the two countries.

 Laos will continue to support Ninh Binhin expanding cooperation with LuangPrabang and Houphan provinces and Vientiane in the time to come, she added.

Khamphao hailed Ninh Binh's efforts in seeking recognition of the Nhoi Hoa princess temple as a national relic site, and said that Laos will send a delegation to assist and accompany the province in finalising the files, thereby helping topreserve and promote the Nhoi Hoa princess temple's values and turn it intoan attractive tourist destination for Lao and international visitors.
