Secretary of provincial Party Committee congratulates press agencies on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

Huan and his delegation visited and presented flowers to the Information and Education Board of the provincial Party Committee and the Department of Information and Communications - two press management agencies of the province.

Huan acknowledged and spoke highly of the direction and orientation of press activities of the Information and Education Board of the provincial Party Committee and the Department of Information and Communications in the recent past.

He asked the Information and Education Board to continue its role in directing and orienting press agencies' activities while urging leaders and employees of the Department of Information and Communications to update new regulations and policies to manage and guide press agencies and journalists to work in line with regulations.

The department needs to continue supporting local press agencies to implement digital transformation in a bid to increase the effectiveness of their activities, he added.

In the morning of the same day, Huan and his delegation visited and congratulated the Bureaus of the Vietnam News Agency and Nhan Dan Newspaper in the province, Ninh Binh Newspaper, Ninh Binh Radio and Television and the provincial Journalists Association.

 He highly evaluated press agencies'  efforts in renovating and improving the quality of press products, serving the political tasks and people's demand for information and entertainment.

The official also spoke highly of the sense of responsibility of these press agencies in implementing their tasks as well as their contributions to Ninh Binh's socio-economic development.

On this occasion, Huan asked state management agencies to cooperate and create favourable conditions for central press agencies to operate conveniently while urging local press agencies to increase professionalism and boost digital transformation in a bid to build the brand for Ninh Binh and develop its identity.
