The second session of the seminar on defining characters of Ninh Binh in association with building local brand names was chaired by Dr. Phan Chi Hieu, President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.

At the session, scientists discussed the culture-historical values of Hoa Lu ancient capital, ecological values of Ninh Binh in building local brand names through analysing cases of Trang An ecological site, Cuc Phuong National Park, Van Long wetland nature reserve and Kim Son mangrove forest; promote the value of cultural heritage brand name in Ninh Binh in a sustainable manner; orientations for development breakthroughs for Ninh Binh based on local characters; value of Ninh Binh brand names in the interactive relations between Hoa Lu of Ninh Binh and Thang Long of Ha Noi; marketing strategy to boost the province's socio-economic development.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, former director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics discusses at the session.
Participants focused discussions on several issues such as defining outstanding historical values of Ninh Binh and promoting these values in the current context; developing Ninh Binh into a typical model of the Red River Delta in the application of scientific and technological advancements, innovation and digital transformation in preserving and promoting unique values and characters of Ninh Binh; and measures to preserve cultural values for tourism development as well as a strategy on developing the cultural industry of Ninh Binh.
They also pointed out limitations and shortcomings in building local brand names based on unique characters of Ninh Binh.
