Sapa recognized as national tourism site

The PM has signed a decision to recognize Sapa in Sapa district, the Northern mountainous province of Lao Cai, as a national tourism site.
The Lao Cai provincial People's Committee was assigned to work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and relevant ministries and agencies to organize a ceremony to announce the decision with a view to advertising the local tourism potentials and attracting more tourists to Sapa.
They were urged to re-arrange the management, exploitation, and development of Sapa tourism site; and submita proposal of appropriate tourism development policiesfor the new tourism siteto the PM for decision.
