The latest archeological studies showed pottery products first appeared in Ninh Binh about 8,000 - 9,000 years ago, considered the earliest of its kind in the region and in the world. Being awared of the value of precious heritages, in the past years, Ninh Binh has paid special attention to archeological studies and put forth practical solutions to preserve and promote the value of ancient pottery village in Bach Lien hamlet, Yen Thanh commune, Yen Mo district.

Since the beginning of 2022, the northern province of Ninh Binh has implemented numerous solutions to accelerate the progress of public capital projects as scheduled and to disburse public investment capital in a bid to effectively realise the Government's Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2022 on the socio-economic recovery and development programme.

An open forum aimed at seeking solutions to sustainably recover Vietnam's tourism was held in Hanoi and virtually connected to 26 localities on November 30.

Basing on the assessment of COVID-19 developments and the ability to control the pandemic in the world as well as Vietnam and Ninh Binh province, the provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to revive and develop tourism activities in the remaining months of 2021 and 2022.

The year 2020 offered the chance for tourism in the northern province of Ninh Binh to thrive, as it was set to host the National Tourism Year, with a range of activities slated for inside and outside of the province.

The imminent loss of tourism revenue due to the current spread of deadly coronavirus has prompted authorities and businesses to discuss plans to revive the tourism industry when the epidemic ends.
