The Resolution of the 22nd Congress of the Party Organisation of Ninh Binh province for the 2020-2025 tenure defined three breakthroughs, including the development of synchronic, effective and quality infrastructure. The Resolution of the 22nd Congress of the Party Organisation of Ninh Binh province for the 2020-2025 tenure has defined three breakthroughs, one of which is to mobilise all resources for the development of socio-economic infrastructure, especially modern and synchronic transport infrastructure for inner-regional and inter-regional connectivity.

In the past years, the northern province of Ninh Binh has focused resources on investing in tourism infrastructure to create a foundation for the province's tourism integration and development. The province has also been paying more attention to ensuring environmental sanitation and making environmental impact assessments, thereby devising proper measures for management as well as serving tourists.

Implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the 10th Party Central Committee on agriculture, farmers and rural areas, in the past few years, Ninh Binh has mobilised resources to invest and build rural infrastructure in a bid to meet the demand of production and travel of people, thereby creating momentum for the province's socio-economic development and narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas.

As the first among four north-central coastal provinces to have implemented a sub-project on improving urban infrastructure to mitigate impacts from climate change, Ninh Binh has urged the contractor to speed up the progress of the sub-project in Phat Diem town in Kim Son district.

Six projects worth over 7.4 trillion VND (310.46 million USD) are expected to begin this year serving railway infrastructure upgrade.

New opportunities and challenges in socio-economic development require Ninh Binh to continue improving transport infrastructure, thus, right at the beginning of the 2020-2025 tenure, it has actively implemented a series of key projects in a bid to complete transport infrastructure for inter-regional connectivity, opening up new opportunities to further develop and attracting investment in the short and long terms.

After it was re-established in 1992, Ninh Binh province clearly defined its advantages for tourism growth. However, to develop the non-smoke industry, it requires synchronic infrastructure. Therefore, in the past 30 years, Ninh Binh has paid due attention to building infrastructure, creating momentum for the province to become a bright spot in the country's tourism map.

A delegation of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee led by its Vice Chairman Nguyen Cao Son on June 1 inspected the site clearance and the progress of several projects in the province.
