Thanks to its special support policies and efforts of localities in implementing programmes and projects on poverty reduction, Ninh Binh province has reaped outstanding achievements in reducing poverty in 2023.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on September 14 chaired a meeting between Cabinet members and State-owned enterprises (SOE) across the country on the promotion of business, production and development investment.

Under the drastic direction and enormous efforts of department, sectors and agencies, the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) of Ninh Binh province saw much progress in 2022. Its scores and ranking have been improved, showing the province's improved governance, favourable business climate and administrative reforms.

The Resolution of the 22nd Congress of the Ninh Binh Party Organisation set a goal of improving the provincial business and investment environment and improving its competitiveness capacity. In an attempt to realise the target, Ninh Binh has implemented the District and Department Competitiveness Index (DDCI), thereby creating momentum for the province's socio-economic development.

In the context of the country's intensive and extensive international economic integration and increasing exports, Ninh Binh's departments and sectors have actively assisted local enterprises in improving their capacity in responding trade safe guard measures.

In an effort to improve the Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI) in 2022, Ninh Binh province's management board of industrial parks (IPs) has carried out numerous solutions, focusing on improving the investment and business climate, increasing competitiveness, and promptly handling obstacles faced by enterprises, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI).

A delegation of the Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission, led by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairwoman of its Organisation Commission Truong Thi Mai, held a working session with the Party Committee of the northern province of Ninh Binh on the results of Party building and organisation.
