A ceremony will be held on November 24 in Cao Bang city to receive a certificate from UNESCO recognising Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark the northern border province of Cao Bang as a global geopark by the UNESCO, a heard at a press conference in Hanoi on November 6.

Vietnam's Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark in the northern province of Cao Bang has been recently declared a new member of the UNESCO Global Network of National Geoparks, making it the second Vietnamese geopark to be awarded the title, following the recognition of Dong Van Karst Plateau in Ha Giang province in December 2010.
