On February 10, To Huy Rua, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's Organisation Commission; Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; and local leading officials visited and presented Tet gift packages to war invalids in Nho Quan war invalid nursing center.
On behalf of the Party and State, Rua extended gratitude for the sacrifices they and their families made during the war. He asked workers in the center to provide better care to beneficiaries in coming time.
During the visit, Deputy Minister Lan, Chairman of the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Dien, and representatives of local enterprises presented gift packages and medical equipment to the center. On Ferbuary, 9, Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh presented gifts to poor families in Nho Quan district. The same day, members of the Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee also visited and presented Tet gifts to poor and disadvantaged people in the province.
