Religious organizations work side by side for national development

While meeting with dignitaries and representatives of seventeen religious organizations on the occasion of the 71^st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's independence, Mr. Quang said religious activities should aim to promote national unity to develop Vietnam into a prosperous, equitable, democratic and cultured country: "The Party Committees and authorities of all levels need to communicate and popularize Party and State guidelines, policies and laws on religions, and provide patriotic education, and awareness of the importance of defending national sovereignty and Vietnam's territorial integrity. Religious organizations need always to be united in the cause of national construction and defence".
